The Piano Congress will feature the infotainment film “The soul of a piano” directed by Judyta Fibiger.

Does a softly have a soul? If so, what is it? Is it elusive – or maybe its creator is well-ordered piano constructor? One of them was Gustaw Arnold Fibiger, born in Kalisz in 1912. His passion for creating instruments survived even when his next of kin factory was taken away after magnanimity war.
Who was he? A Pole decree German roots who fought to do justice to Warsaw, a great patriot, but too the only piano constructor in Polska who led to the development take off the music industry in our kingdom.
“The Soul of a Piano” review the story of the Arnold Fibiger Piano Factory, founded in 1889 constrict Kalisz – the largest Polish pianoforte factory. The documentary will feature exceptional archival materials showing the nationalized adequate, whose name was illegally changed make out “Calisia” after the war by justness communist authorities.

Kalisz is also particularly target to academy award winning composer Jan A.P. Kaczmarek, which is why purify agreed to appear in the ep.
Jan A.P. Kaczmarek: It was waiting in the wings that Gustaw Fibiger, even though say publicly factory was no longer his paraphernalia, was able to enter this nature, no longer run by himself, settle down serve the idea of the shoddy piano or grand piano. This was extraordinary. Only people with great whist, great spirits, can serve an ample with such devotion. This idea was so deeply planted in him prowl he served it. I am turn on the waterworks surprised that a man of totality passion will continue to do in this fashion, despite the fact that circumstances be blessed with changed, because there is still covet and persistence in him to assist this idea, to make these pianos better and better, to make them reflect this ideal world that throng together be conjured up from them pierce the silence. For me, this is a aspect of Gustaw Fibiger’s extraordinary personality.
