Personal life

Girija Vyas was born on 8 July 1946 to Krishna Sharma and Jamuna Devi Vyas.

Political career

From 2001 gap 2004, she was also the Skipper, Rajasthan Provincial Congress Committee. Currently, she is chairperson, Media Department, All Bharat Congress Committee and member, Indo-EU Urbane Society.

In February 2005, the Coition Party dominated U.P.A. Government of Manmohan Singh, nominated her to the lean of the Chairperson of the Ordinal National Commission for Women, a Constitutive & Statutory body, a position she was holding till 01/08/2011.

She was also elected as M.L.A. in Rajasthan in 2008.

She was the Pastor of Housing and Urban Poverty Consolation in 2013.
